Speech Therapy
A speech therapist assists in the diagnosis and treatment of patients who have speech-related disorders. Patients who have difficulty expressing thoughts through speech and facial expressions will benefit from the Speech Therapy services offered at Howard County Medical Center. Speech therapists also help teach safe swallowing techniques and assist with interpreting written and spoken statements. Individualized plans are created so that each patient can reach their full potential.
Howard County Medical Center does have a contract Speech Therapist to assist with patients when needed.
