Surgery
Howard County Medical Center offers both outpatient and inpatient surgeries that are performed by our local Physicians as well as by visiting Surgeons. These medical providers have access to the latest technology and state of the art equipment so that they may provide the highest level of care to the patients in the Howard County service area. Surgery is available any day of the week, and additionally, there is always a surgeon on call in the case of an emergency.
The Surgery department also recently purchased a new Stryker tower for rigid endoscopic procedures in addition to the Olympus colon videoscope, gastrointestinal videoscope, and all the accessories. All of the new additions in surgery provide ease of operation in addition to unmatched performance and reliability so that the surgeons and nursing staff can provide the best care possible to patients.
