Current Openings
Laboratory Director
- Primary function is to direct the budgetary, purchasing, staffing and related aspects of laboratory work
- Will monitor laboratory quality assurance including quality control, competency testing and proficiency testing, and be an active participant in monthly Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) meetings
- Responsible for writing all laboratory policies and procedures
- Oversees the ordering of supplies within the departmental budget from the Purchasing department
- Responsible for arranging for the maintenance and upkeep of Laboratory equipment
- Oversees the cleanliness and neatness of the laboratory area
- Responsible for blood bank monitoring
- Oversees the accuracy of logs and records for all patients
- Oversees Laboratory Information Systems
- Oversees care that is exercised in handling bodily fluids and hazardous materials
- Oversees and directs laboratory assistants in the Medical Clinic and maintains positive relationships
- Responsible for scheduling staff to ensure that the department will operate efficiently and smoothly 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- MT-ASCP Certification required, in addition to 5-10 years of previous lab experience
- Previous management experience strongly preferred

Laundry Worker
- Primary function will be to perform standardized tasks in the Laundry department
- Orientate to chemicals, dryers, sewing machines, scales, washing and drying machines
- Weight linens form each department before washing, and record total pounds onto the daily log sheet
- Assure that sufficient linen is stocked on the floor and notify the appropriate Department Director if additional linen is needed
- Follow infection control and blood borne pathogen safety policies and procedures when handling soiled linens, which include but are not limited to: washing your hands, wearing plastic aprons, and wearing safety goggles
- Position would be two (6-7hr) shifts per week

Cook
- Primary function is to prepare and cook all meals for patients, employees, and visitors working from the posted menus, patient marked menus and patient diets as ordered by physicians.
- Prior cooking experience preferred
- Position would be Wednesdays, and every third week-end

Registered Nurse (Hospital)
- Primary function is to provide professional nursing care to patients. RN's will also observe, record, and report as appropriate the symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients.
- Multiple part-time night positions available, in addition to a part-time day position, and PRN day and night positions
- Current Nebraska Licensure as a Registered Nurse is required
