Medical Staff

Dr. BrennanDr. Angela Brennan

Dr. Brennan is a graduate of Dodge High School. She received her undergraduate education from Chadron State College, where she majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. Dr. Brennan attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center from 1999 until 2003, where she earned her Doctor of Medicine degree. She started as a fourth year medical student in the UNMC Accelerated Family Practice Residency in 2002, and finished in 2005. Dr. Brennan went on to complete a Rural Family Practice Fellowship during the 2005-2006 year.

Dr. Brennan is Board Certified in Family Medicine, and is also certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advance Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP), Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS), and Advance Life Support Obstetrics (ALSO).

Dr. Brennan joined the Medical Staff in August of 2006. She resides in St. Paul, with her husband Alan.

 

Dr. HarrahillDr. Daniel Harrahill

Dr. Harrahill is a graduate of St. Paul High School. He completed his pre-med coursework at Kearney State College, and then attended Creighton University from 1986 until 1988, where he earned his Occupational Therapy degree. He went back to school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center from 1992, until 1996, and received his Doctor of Medicine degree. Dr. Harrahill completed his Residency Training through UNMC in Omaha for one year, and at Regional West Health Center for two years, finishing in 1999.

Dr. Harrahill is Board Certified in Family Medicine, and is also certified in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, NRP, PALS, and ALSO.

Dr. Harrahill was employed with Grand Island Physical Therapy and Sports Clinic from 1988 until 1992, and joined Howard County Medical Center in July of 1999. Dr. Harrahill resides in St. Paul with his wife Shelly, and their four children: Emilea, Joshua, Noah & Madison.

 

Dr. KramerDr. Jared Kramer

Dr. Kramer is a graduate of Crofton High School. He received his undergraduate education from Chadron State College under the RHOP program. Dr. Kramer then attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center from 1998 to 2002, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree. He completed his residency in the Accelerated Family Practice Program from 2001 to 2004. Following his residency, he completed a Family Medicine Procedural Fellowship in 2005.

Dr. Kramer is Board Certified in Family Medicine, and is also certified in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, NRP, PALS, and ALSO.

Dr. Kramer joined the Medical Staff in August of 2005. He resides in St. Paul, with his wife Darcey, and their four children: Alexis, Samuel, Jackson & Matthew.

 

Dr. KramerKelli Platek, PA-C

Kelli Platek, PA-C, is a local graduate of St. Paul High School.  She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, where she majored in Biochemistry, and minored in Mathematics.  Kelli went on to attend the University of Nebraska Medical Center from 2007 until 2009, where she earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies.  Kelli completed twelve different rotations during her time at UNMC, with time being spent on the following areas:  Psychiatric, Pediatric, General Surgery, Family Medicine, OB/GYN, Internal Medicine, Geriatric, Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, Infectious Disease, Orthopedics, and Dermatology. 

Kelli is certified in BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS and ATLS.

Kelli joined the Medical Staff in February of 2010.  Kelli, and her husband Jeff, reside in St. Paul.

 

Dr. TomhaveDr. Christopher Tomhave

Dr. Tomhave is a graduate of Waverly High School. He completed his pre-med coursework at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln from 1989 until 1992. Dr. Tomhave then attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center from 1992 until 1996. He received his Bachelors of Science in Medicine in 1994, and his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1996. Dr. Tomhave completed his residency at the Lincoln Medical Education Foundation in 1999.

Dr. Tomhave is Board Certified in Family Practice, and is also certified in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, ALSO, and is a NRP Instructor.

Dr. Tomhave joined the Medical Staff in November 1999. He resides in St. Paul, with his wife Patsy.

 

Roger Wells, PA-CRoger Wells, PA-C

Roger Wells is a graduate of Elba High School. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Physical Education K-12, Athletic Training and Coaching Interscholastic Sports from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 1978. Roger continued his education at Eastern Illinois University, and graduated with a Masters Degree in Physical Education and Athletic Training with an emphasis in biomechanics and exercise physiology in 1980. Roger then went on to the University of Nebraska Medical Center and received his Physician Assistant Degree in 1987.

Roger Wells is certified through the National Commission of Physician Assistants, and is also certified in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, NRP, ALSO & PALS.

Roger was the head Athletic Trainer at UNK from 1980 until 1983, and in that role, he was responsible for the prevention and care of all 13 varsity athletic teams. Roger has been a Physician Assistant in St. Paul since 1987. He worked at Family Practice of St. Paul, which then became the Medical Clinic, which is now referred to as Howard County Medical Clinic. Roger resides in St. Paul, with his wife Debra. Roger and Debra also have three grown children: Adam, Lea & Jana.
